We are happy to announce that our D3LTA exhibition will finally open its doors on Friday, October 11th at LEHRTER SIEBZEHN OPEN | PROJECT | SPACE in Berlin. We are very excited, come by, have some drinks with us – hope to see you there. And if you’re not in town, join the project by submitting a creation directly into the showroom.

EXHIBITION running from October 11 – October 26 ‘13

„They said chaos I say form“ is a selection of digital artworks created with the mobile application „D3LTA // Geometric Surface Photography“. The opening will be accompanied by an interactive installation, giving users worldwide the possibility to take part in the exhibition by submitting their creations directly into the L17-showroom in real time. Oh, and there some good music, too.

D3LTA is a project by RAINBOW UNICORN, that enables the user to transform pictures by applying one of ten geometric-kaleidoscopic filters. The results stand out by their simple and clear but unique shape. Regardless if self-portrait or landscape: Objects viewed through this mirror of digital existence gain a whole new meaning.

Martin and me will spin some records at the ‘Now more sugar for the Bambi‘ event, which will take place coming thursday from 20h at Stattbad Wedding in the backyard. I assume you come by and have some funny times with us.

Martin will spin some records tonight here in Berlin for a art show by Ewa Okolowicz taking place in Chile at the same time. This will be broadcasted via this internethingy so even you can take part! He will start at 2AM. ¡Ay, caramba!

Lange wurde er geplant und viel haben wir darüber geredet und nun steht er plötzlich tatsächlich vor der Tür, ohne dass wir ihn hätten kommen sehen oder geschweige denn uns darauf vorbereitet hätten.Die Abyssals haben PAMPIG ins //:aboutblank und dort in den gemunkelt schönsten Clubgarten der Stadt geladen um diesen mit unserer Anwesenheit zu bespaßen. Vermutlich werden wir dort sogar Musik spielen, wer weiß, sogar Visuelles bieten. Mehr können wir noch nicht verraten werden, denn was ist schöner als von sich selbst überrascht zu werden?

It happens that we live across the street of an old crematorium with cemetery. That’s pretty decent and gives you a warm cozy feeling when falling asleep and even more when waking up again the next morning. Today we noticed an exhibition called ‘waves & partciles‘ starting there from Feb 6th as part of the Berlinale Forum Expanded.

The itself impressive building is now filled with all kinds of different morbid video installations. Nice hangout. Don’t know how long it will last. So make sure to drop by and take a nap in the huge hall watching some dove-action projected on the cathedral like ceiling called ‘Spirits Still’ by Lucien Castaing-Taylor and Vérena Paravel. I shot a video that can transport the vibe, i hope.

The 8th edition of Forum Expanded opens on February 6 with the “Waves vs. Particles” group exhibition at Silent Green Kulturquartier (former Crematorium Wedding). The opening starts at 6 pm; the exhibition will then be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm. Another exhibition with works by Marie-Hélène Cousineau in the Marshall McLuhan Salon of Canada’s embassy will be opened on February 7 between 5 and 7 pm and will then be open daily from 2 to 8 pm. In the Filmhaus installations by Basma Alsharif and Lucien Castaing-Taylor/Véréna Paravel can be seen from February 8, and an exhibition with works by Hélio Oiticica runs from February 6.
