Alexander Nevsky is a 1938 Soviet historical drama film directed by Sergei Eisenstein. It depicts the attempted invasion of Novgorod in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights of the Holy Roman Empire and their defeat by Prince Alexander, known popularly as Alexander Nevsky (1220–1263).

Das Netz
Das Netz ist ein Dokumentarfilm von Lutz Dammbeck über Entstehung des Internets und möglicher Parallelen aus den Bereichen Kunst und Lebenskultur.´
Der Film zeigt und interviewt Personen, die an der Entwicklung der Technologien des Internets oder deren soziologischen Theorien beteiligt waren. Als Gegenpol wird die Entwicklung des technophoben Protagonisten Theodore Kaczynski dargestellt, der als Unabomber zahlreiche Anschläge auf technikschaffende Personen ausführte. Ausgangspunkt ist die kybernetische Betrachtung des Internets und die Parallelen zur modernen Kunstszene.
Das erste Interview wird mit dem amerikanischen Literaturagenten John Brockman geführt, dessen Autor David Gelernter, ein Informatiker, von einer Bombe des Unabombers verletzt wurde. Brockman beschreibt seine persönlichen Anfänge in der Kunst und der erfolgreichen Verbindung mit moderner Informatik. Kultur der Kopie – daraufhin begibt sich die Dokumentation auf die Spur des Unabombers und dessen Manifest. Im folgenden Interview wird der Autor Stewart Brand befragt, der in den 1970er Jahren an LSD-Tests teilnahm und das Computernetz WELL initiierte. Weiterhin geht es um das Manifest des Unabombers und diesen selbst.
Es erfolgt eine Darstellung der Zusammenhänge zwischen Wissenschaft und Militär. Dabei wird auf das wissenschaftliche Angebot Norbert Wieners eingegangen, der im Zweiten Weltkrieg für die Regierung der USA arbeitete. Wiener ist der Begründer der Kybernetik. Die theoretische Darstellung der Kybernetik beginnt mit einer Abhandlung über SAGE und das ARPANET. Die kybernetische Theorie wird im Folgenden hauptsächlich in Interviews mit dem Kybernetiker und Sozialkonstruktivisten Heinz von Foerster dargestellt.
Die soziologischen Ansätze der Macy-Konferenzen, über Kybernetik, die Ansätze der Frankfurter Schule, eine Faschismusskala zu entwickeln, werden als Einflüsse für die Entwicklung des Internets skizziert.

Based on secret messages exchanged by imprisoned Red Army Faction (RAF) members like Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin and the rest of the gang, through this radio drama by ULF STOLTERFOHT (winner of several literary prizes), the authors explore the power of names and denominations. Guests making surprise appearances are among others, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Herman Melville, and maybe even Rumpelstiltskin. The play unfolds in a highly unusual setting, weaving a tapestry of references.
The music for this radio play was created by KAMMERFLIMMER KOLLEKTIEF, in their unique and uncategorizable blend of sound drawing inspiration from jazz, folk and electronics.
Untitled (Near Parndorf, Austria)

On Saturday, 29 August 2015, John Gerrard travelled to a nondescript section of motorway near the town of Parndorf, east of Vienna, Austria. Using news images as guides he trespassed the highway verge to first find and then produce a detailed photographic survey of the location where a truck had been abandoned two days earlier, on Thursday, 27 August 2015.
This truck was found to contain the corpses of seventy one hidden migrants from Iran, Iraq and Syria, who had smothered in the vehicle, from which the driver subsequently fled.
‘Untitled (near Parndorf, Austria) 2018’ creates a detailed virtual portrait of the highway scene as it was on that day, focusing on the painted police markings which recorded the truck and tyre locations. In documenting this marked void and site of loss the work hopes to rescue this specific tragedy from a river of news that flows through society every day and is mostly forgotten. The work unfolds over an annual solar orbit of a year which includes night, day and seasonal light changes alongside a slowly turning camera which looks upon the site.
Procedure room
This project is about police torture, a widespread practice in contemporary Ukraine. One could also say that this project is about the body, as something personal (unalienated), something private (an object of exchange), and as something that exists for the public good (entrusted to uniformed professionals). The project consists of a set of souvenir plates printed with drawings of police tortures and the text of the email dialogue between Yekaterina Mishchenko and Nikita Kadan. The project includes posters with the same drawings and correspondence fragments, which were put up in public space. The choice of forms and visual means is connected with the absence of any clear visual documentation of torture procedures, with their specific ‘invisibility’. The didactic character of these drawings addresses the collective responsibility of all those who know and remain silent, bearing the guilt for what goes on ‘in the shadows’. These instructions have been executed in the style of the “Popular Medical Dictionary” of the Soviet era, where one could often find illustrations of patient-characters with serene facial expressions, even though they are undergoing extremely painful procedures. ‘The doctor knows what he is doing. It’s all for our own good’.
