Hans Nieswandt is a long standing and highly respected key figure in the music scene of Cologne, of Germany and beyond. As a pioneering DJ since the mid-eighties, as writer and editor for the mighty Spex magazine in the early nineties, and as a music producer, solo and with his group Whirlpool Productions, he helped shape the Sound Of Cologne from the mid-nineties onward. ‘Fluoreszent’ is the new solo album by the artist and his third for Hamburg’s Bureau B label.
