La luna del río se mira

Jorge de la Vega (27 March 1930 – 26 August 1971) was an Argentine painter, graphic artist, draftsman, singer, and songwriter.

The little worm is walking,
and in the grass
he is drawing a little drawing,
which is equal to the worm.

And the drawing goes walking,
and in the grass
a little worm is worming,
which is the same as the drawing.

The moon of the river looks at itself,
like a coin in the sky roll,
the fish that in the sky it wets stars,
shimmers at the bottom of the sea.

And the little worm keeps walking,
and at the same time wondering,
if the whole world is not a backwards drawing.

A worm of the right and a little drawing upside down,
a sketch of the law and the whole world upside down.

Since a time ago the little worm walks
without giving a damn of the drawing that, at his feet,
slowly appearing in the grass
just like the worm but turned upside down.

Because a good day came to be so annoyed
of the enigma drawn that has begun to pull,
and with the lines of the drawing he made the ball
with which a simple suit it was made on a loom.

And presenting himself like this, dressed as himself,
overflowing with optimism,
It makes us reflect, that the little worm in person is different
of almost all the people what’s in real life.

Because he has understood that the world makes sense
if he looks determined all together and at once,
and if life is not distributed: a piece of law
and a piece of the reverse.

of almost all the people what’s in real life.

Because he has understood that the world makes sense
if you look determined, all together and at once,
and if life is not distributed:

a piece of law
and a piece of the reverse.
worm of the law,
backwards drawing,
drawing of the law,
upside down worm
