[column class=’column2′] Art for Gold is an art project started by the Dutch artist Eveline van de Griend in South Africa. Donade gold in exchange for an original portrait of wearing the donated gold. Van de Griend will then recycle the collected gold to make the unique golden ’1% pure goodness’ Art For Gold ring. This ring will be donated on Freedom Day, the 27th of April, 2014, the South African National Gallery in Cape Town.
