Five years ago @rey_sapienz released his debut EP of Congolese soukous mutations that would give birth to the Kongo Techno sound and give the Nyege Nyege Tapes sublabel it’s name @hakuna.kulala . A music video was shot at Rey Sapienz’s listening party that managed to get lost in the archives and was rediscovered by chance last month on a old hard drive.
